Terms of Service

These terms cover the website services provided by Summit City Digital Solutions LLC, an Indiana limited liability company doing business as Summit City Digital ("we", "us"), to you, the business that buys them ("you"). In plain English: you see your site before you pay, you own your domain, and you can cancel the monthly service anytime.

1. Free demo

We may build a demo website for your business before you buy anything. The demo is free and carries no obligation. Demos are marked as demos, are hidden from search engines, and may be taken down after about 30 days if you don't want to go ahead.

2. What you pay

Launch fee: a one-time fee (currently $297) to finish your site and put it live. It is due only after you have reviewed and approved your finished site.
Monthly service: $49 per month for hosting, security, domain renewal and small changes. Billing starts 30 days after launch and renews monthly until you cancel. Other payment options (such as yearly) may be offered in writing.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change for new customers. If we ever change your price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel instead.

3. What's included

A website for your business on your own domain, hosting with HTTPS, a quote or contact form that sends messages to your email, help adding your website to your Google Business Profile, and unlimited small changes requested by email or phone (for example prices, services, hours, photos and wording). Larger projects, such as new pages with substantial new content, online stores or custom features, are quoted separately before any work starts.

4. Your domain

When your domain is included, we register it at our cost with your business listed as the registrant, and renew it while your monthly service is active. If you cancel, we'll transfer the domain to you at no charge on request. If you already own a domain, you keep full control of it.

5. Your content

You're responsible for making sure the content you send us (photos, logos, text) is yours to use, and you give us permission to use it on your site. Before launch we replace our sample photos with yours or with properly licensed images. Reviews shown on your site are your real public reviews, quoted word for word.

6. Cancelling

Cancel the monthly service anytime by email or phone. It stops at the end of the current paid month and you won't be charged again. On request we'll send you your site files and transfer your domain. After cancellation we stop hosting the site.

7. Refunds

Because you approve your finished site before paying the launch fee, the launch fee isn't refundable once the site is live. Monthly fees aren't prorated. If something isn't right, call or email us first and we'll work to fix it.

8. Availability and liability

We use reputable hosting and aim to keep your site online, but we can't promise it will never be down. We don't guarantee any particular search ranking, number of calls or amount of business. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages.

9. Ending service

We may suspend or end service for non-payment after reminding you, or if a site is used for anything illegal or harmful. If we ever stop offering the service, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, your files and your domain.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Indiana. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and we'll tell current customers about material changes by email.
